There’s a saying that good things come in small packages. Well, it’s true! That’s why I think that you should try to visit one of these cool little zoos for a dash of fun, at least once. On its own or attached to a park, you will get the chance to learn and interact with animals from all around the world. Farm In The City
An Eden of nature and animals, trust me, your kids and you will have a blast at Farm In The City. More than just a zoo, this places has a very unique concept to promote the diversity of Malaysia culture and racial population. Designed with a resemblance of a typical Malaysia village setting. Here, visitors get to feed, play around and learn of natural plants and wildlife in Malaysia.
Been there once, I was screaming the whole time. Thank god my niece Lulu was the brave one and enjoyed the whole day. Don’t get me wrong though. FITC is an amazing mini zoo. But for me on the other hand, I am literally scared of everything. Some of the animals are free to wander around. Seriously there are so many things that you can do here.
Activity in the farm:
- Feed and interact with Giant Tortoise species (the only thing that I wasn’t scared of, they just stay where they are lol)
- Interact with more than 100 species of tame and exotic animals. Including 400 individuals birds from all around the world, and Malaysia. WOW!
- Summon thousands of Koi fish just by ringing a bell. You get to feed them too!
- Play traditional games of Malaysia. FUN!

Sunway Lagoon Wildlife Park
Every Malaysian knows Sunway Lagoon Theme Park is one of the best in Malaysia. It’s not just about the amazing rides though! You can get up close and personal with over 150 species of animals from around the would at Sunway Lagoon Wildlife Park too.
Be amazed by the latest addition of the wildlife park, the majestic icy blue-eyed beauties ‘White Tigers, Samson and Asha. So beautiful okay!

Aviary ‘N’ Bunny Park
Aviary ‘N’ Bunny Park is a free and easy mini zoo is worth to visit. The place may not be as big as the rest, there are enough of tame animals that you get to feed, caress and interact with.

- Feed animals like lambs, tortoises, ducks, swans and many more.
- Have great photography moments with the beautiful animals.

G2G Animal Garden
Plan your visit to G2G Animal Garden to have the experience to feed, touch, and play with more than 60 species of exotic animals here. Situated inside of Taman Ekspo Pertanian Malaysia (MAEPS), both adults and children will have a blast here.
Activity available:
- Have the chance to interact with exotic animals such as Bearded dragon, Racoon, British Shorthair cat, and many more.
- Children can enjoy the pony ride available in the zoo.
- Get up close and personal with cute cats at the Cat house.
- Be entertained by the playful, funny, and happy characteristics of goats at the Animal Therapy house.
- Take great pictures and feed the birds at the Bird Aviary. Your kids will enjoy this the most 🙂
- Make your way to the Rabbit Garden for fun day activity with the cute rabbits.
- At the Reptile house, kids are safe to play with the animals such as snake, frog, iguana, and many more.

Kuan Wellness Eco Park
The owners of Kuan Wellness Eco Park are actually bird’s new producers. Due to that, they have opened up a little firm to educate people about bird’s nest production, a small zoo, and a few bird’s nest and other health foods’ shops. Located near Pantai Batu Laut, it is a pleasant place to bring family closer for some quality time.
You’ll be impressed with the bird available there such as mandarin ducks, black shoulder peacocks, giant zebra finch, Senegal parrots and so much more. The aquarium tanks contain some of the beautiful fishes golden koi and butterfly koi, amongst others.
Activities:
- Visitors can enjoy interacting and feeding various birds, animals, reptiles, and fishes.
- Get up close and personal with cute rabbits running around at the rabbit section.
- Tour around the place to see cute furry critters such as porcupines, prairie dogs, and Javan deer.
