Mimaland, Gombak
One of the most famous abandoned spaces is Malaysia’s first theme park, Mimaland, in Gombak. With the dinosaur and wild animal replicas now overgrown by the jungle, it almost looks like a real glimpse into a prehistoric world. Until you see the giant slides and rides, of course. Then you are reminded of the tragedies that befell this place and closed it for good in 1994.
