Coach announces basketball player and CBA All-Star Jeremy Lin as the house’s newest ambassador.
Founded in New York 79 years ago, Coach began as a men’s accessories brand and has built its reputation on leather innovation and craftsmanship. Today, it is a global fashion house defined by a spirit of optimism, inclusion and authenticity.
Lin, an athlete who has built his career by chasing his dreams and forging his own path shares the brand’s optimism, belief in possibility and authentic approach to self-expression. His partnership with Coach will include global advertising campaigns for leather goods, ready-to-wear and footwear beginning with the Fall 2020 season.
“I’m really happy that Jeremy is joining the Coach family. I admire him not just for his confident and playful style, but also for his commitment to his career and his beliefs. His story is and continues to be, inspiring. I’m very much looking forward to collaborating with him at Coach.” – Stuart Vevers, Coach Creative Director.
“I am excited to be named the newest member of the Coach family. There are so many reasons why I’m excited to partner with Coach—a fashion brand that is going to keep me looking good, but also cares about authenticity, self-expression, and giving back.” – Jeremy Lin
Lin’s debut for the house will feature the basketball star in its second China Collective collection. Following the success of the first collection, graphic artist Guang Yu will collaborate with the house along with two of his protégés, Li Ruosi and Tanqian.
The collection will feature the artists’ reinterpretations of Coach’s iconic Horse and Carriage motif, its first-ever house logo. The China Collective collection will be in stores later this year
