Day 1
A road trip is not completed without many R&R pit-stops. Also with thousands of pictures to be included with. This one was taken at one of the famous pit-stops in Malaysia, R&R Tapah, Perak. My dad wanted fruits and some of us needed to go for toilet breaks. So, yeah!
Mission accomplished and we bought our dad some fresh fruits for him to enjoy in the car. Oh and yes, this was a candid photo of Mims, believe it or not. LOL.
Before we continued our journey, I couldn’t help to notice this beautiful beast. So unique and colourful!
After countless of pit-stops, snack hunting and car Tik Toks by the girls, we finally arrived Penang Island. Before check-in, we wanted to eat at Hameedah Restaurant, one of the best Nasi Kandar restaurant in town. Unfortunately, the queue was too long and we were too tired to wait. I was devastated because I can already imagine the taste of the honey chicken with beriyani rice in my mouth. Oh, well. Better luck next time, I guess!
The rest of the day was pretty laid back. We went for lunch then came back for a swim until the kids got tired. At night, we had our dinner somewhere in Batu Feringgi stalls. It was an unsatisfying dinner, to be honest. Most of our orders arrived late and others didn’t make it to the table at all. The kids already had fallen asleep at the table. Man, what a night!
