Day 2
Started off our day with big breakfasts before kicking it off at the pool and beach. The kids were not too excited about eating. All they wanted was to play at the swimming pool.
Izdiyad basically tried to feed Mims so that she would eat faster. All because he wanted to play LOL. This is him trying to eat as fast as he can. He is the real entertainer, EVERY TIME!

Also, don’t miss out on this super adorable photo of my munchkins before going to the swimming pool. Cute, right? But don’t be fooled by these faces. Each of them has many tricks on their sleeves. Still love them sooooo much though LOL.

When they were ready to play, we took the kids to the beach to build a sandcastle. My nephew was the happiest one at first. He requested my help to build his little castle. Too bad, I wasn’t much of a help that he needs. I practically ruin his entire plan. To distract him, we went for a dip in the sea instead.

While we all had some taste of pizza for lunch, Mims ordered Grab Food from Hameediyah Restaurant’s Nasi Kandar for my parents. But to our surprise, my dad didn’t feel like eating it. So we (hubs and I) went for restaurant hunting around Batu Ferringhi with le parents and was so happy when my dad found a little stall that serves rice and all kinds of Malay dishes. We ordered fish curry and my god, the taste was mind-blowing! It was so damn good!

In the afternoon, hubs and I actually planned to try out the Kopi Hutan (Monkey Cup) cafe at Penang Hill. But then my mum decided to join us so we figured something fancier. Time was ticking as we had made a dinner reservation at 7.30 pm and it was already 4.30 pm. Note this, my mum wanted to go to Gurney Mall after our cafe hunting. So imagine how chaotic it was to find a last-minute cafe worthy of shots, and have enough time to take my mum to the mall and get back to the hotel for dinner.

All in all, it wasn’t that bad after all. We did everything we wanted and found this cute little cafe in George Town. Also, we managed to walk around the street art for some shots. See, I told you that not everything needs to be plan out.

Guess what, it turns out that the kids end up spending time at the swimming pool until 5.00 pm. From 10.00 am – 5.00 pm, felt like an office hour to me. Whatever makes them happy 🙂

One man down after the plenty of hours dipping in the swimming pool. LOL!

On our final night in Penang Island, we pretty much enjoyed our steamboat dinner. The kids had so much fun cooking all the food we wanted to eat. The price was affordable and the food tasted good. It was a good spot!

But that’s not all we had. Of course, the kids and my parents were practically tired after dinner. They went back to the hotel while Nisa’, Mims, hubs, and I continued our little feast at Gurney Drive instead.

Well, before we can even have our supper outing. We had to ‘bribe’ the kids so they’re okay if we leave them with the gramps. And… the plan succeeded! They said YES!

Nisa’ and I wanted to eat assam laksa at a Chinese aunty stall that I couldn’t remember the name. Too bad, her stall was already close by the time we got there 🙁 What a bummer!
