Sky Mirror, Kuala Selangor
My friend, Liza recently came back from a short trip to Kuala Selangor. Never been there my whole life. So I was wondering what kind of fun that a city girl like her could be having there. Guess what? That’s when we both find out about the Sky Mirror beach in Kuala Selangor. Located 1.74 nautical miles off the coast of the fishing village of Jeram, it is a unique tourist attraction that is only accessible when low tide. Basically, you have to ride a boat in the middle of the sea. Then wait for a few minutes. The next thing you know, miles of sandy beach can be seen at low tide. That’s when the natural light of the seawater will reflect on the sky. People just love taking pictures and videos there. It’s so surreal. Yes, Sky Mirror is Malaysia’s very own “Salar de Uyuni.”
