But I’m a loving girlfriend so I stuffed 3 hot water bags in my clothes so I can experience this once in a lifetime trip with the man I love. While this girl from the tropics was freezing to death, he seemed so at home in the cold. I lasted all of 15 minutes at Diamond Beach before my eyes were so dry from the piercing cold winds I thought they’d crack. But I got this cool photo of him in awe of the world. Which was absolutely worth almost going blind for.
