Monki
It is nothing new that this Swedish brand’s entire denim range has been made with 100% certified organic cotton. Monki has increased its production by including sustainable zippers, recycled thread, recycled zipper tape and post-consumer waste (PCW). In time, the brand aims to increase the use of PCW in all products as a way to save up 4500 litres of water, per 1kg of fabric. Incredible, right?
Why I love it?
If you must know, Monki’s Planet Power commitment is not something that are to be taken lightly. The brand aims to only use recycled or other sustainably sourced material by 2030.
The FW20 DENIM collection features a variety of selections that are just to-die-for––pastel lavender, worn black and classic blue washes. My fav would the subtle puff sleeve details that would look great for day and night look. Don’t you think so?
