Can’t travel? Interact virtually with Tourism Malaysia’s digital brochures to keep that wanderlust burning!
Tourism Malaysia launched five new Interactive Digital Brochures as part of their rebranding efforts, wherein the microsite allows travellers to the country to interact virtually with a range of online tools and social media integration.
Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri said the initiative is part of the government’s efforts to spur the tourism industry that has been battered by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Nancy said digitalisation would be key in spurring travellers’ interest in the country post pandemic, in line with the National Tourism Policy 2020-2030.
“The new version of these brochures opens a wider dimension and allow users to interact virtually to obtain all the necessary information at the tip of their fingers,” she said during the launch in Kuala Lumpur.
In her speech, Nancy said the ministry is ramping up efforts to make Malaysia the preferred holiday destination in the region once borders reopen again.

She added that the new interactive brochure is a great tool to help families plan their holidays around the country.
For starters, Tourism Malaysia has digitalised five of its most popular brochures among tourists. They are the Malaysia Travel Guide, Kuala Lumpur the Dazzling Capital City, Langkawi the Jewel of Kedah, Islands and Beaches and Adventures with Nature.
