Jenna Ortega, who played Wednesday Addams, mentioned that she enjoyed filming at Cantacuzino Castle, where the filmed exterior of Nevermore Academy took place.
“I met some of my favourite people on this planet there. I think the people there are lovely, and the place where our school is located (Nevermore Academy) is also very beautiful.”
Cantacuzino Castle from Busteni, owned great architectonic, historical and artistic value, was built and inaugurated in 1911 at the wish of Prince Gheorghe Grigore Cantacuzino (also known as “the Nabob”-prime minister of Romania between 1899-1900 and 1904-1907).
You can certainly visit the castle as it is open to the public, and there are a few packages you can enjoy starting from 55 lei/per adult.
