I’m dancing with joy for the people of Vietnam and future travelers
The opening of Capella Hanoi in December 2020 is definitely of Vietnam’s greatest highlights of the year. Why wouldn’t it be? First off, Bill Bensley designs the 47-bedroom boutique hotel. Secondly, the illustrious architect was also behind the ah-mazing creation of the World’s no.1 hotel of the year 2020, which is the Capella Ubud, Bali. I’ve never been there myself, but by the reviews and pictures of the hotel, literally left me speechless.
The creation of Capella Hanoi is basically a celebration of Opera. It was conceptualized to be a Petite Auberge of California during the halcyon days of Opera. I can imagine it already. Oh my god, I seriously can’t wait! More than just for your Instaworthy shots but the experience will last for a lifetime. Now, that’s precious!
Basically, Capella Hanoi is a stone’s throw away from some of the most impressive historic landmarks. Yes, yes, and yes! The list includes the “Temple of the Jade Mound” and the French Quarter. Not to mention the Hanoi Opera House being the centre of all. On top of that, Capella Culturist will orchestrate a unique Capella Curates programme, which offers a glimpse into the soul of Hanoi. Very nice, indeed!
You should also know that each suite within the spellbinding property is individually designed to reveal tales of the mischievous opera society back then. Oh, also expect to see a set of designs, opera costumes, and vintage tableware decorating the hotel. This includes the signature restaurant, backstage, and Diva’s Lounge.
This news has made me include Hanoi in my travel bucket list. Even though I’m not a fan of opera, but Capella Hanoi is one that should not be missed. Here’s to exploring a new city and learning a new culture. Who’s with me?
