Eat all you want at Ratto’s Market & Deli
Yes, yes, yes! There is absolutely nothing better than food. Am I right? Right!
Giovanni Battista Ratto, an Italian man who opens the Colombo Bakery in Oakland, somewhere during the 1980s or 1990s. Working successfully alongside his co-founders for seven years, he then ran a retail food store in the same neighborhood. International goods were the core items to be sold to differentiate his one from the rest. In time, it became a success story. The international delicatessen and grocery have been there for over 110 years. Even though the stores faced a four-alarm fire in the 1970s and a magnitude earthquake in the following decade, they managed to survive!
