Today, the government announced the extension of the Condition Movement Control Order (CMCO) in Malaysia. The date continues for 14 more days until November 9 in Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, and Putrajaya. Senior Minister Datuk Ismail Sabri Yaacob stated that the decision was made due to the increased risk of COVID-19.
Currently, there are about one million employees that have obeyed the working-from-home rule. However, there are also others who refused to follow the law. The government spotted on misused of employer’s letter for personal matters. Even worse, some used the reason to send office-related items while during the thorough check, nothing has been found. This happened mostly during the weekends throughout the CMCO period.

On top of that, there are a few positive cases of COVID-19 involving POS Malaysia’s employees. Due to that, Malaysians became skeptical to do or receive any postage. Don’t worry though! All you need to do is spray away the package with sanitizer before unwrapping it.
So, are we allow to travel?
Yes, if you have an official matter in regards to work. Emergencies with the proper documentations are acceptable as well. As for now, if the numbers continue to be at an unhealthy level, there might be a possibility of another extension. Well, we’re definitely all for it. As long as the widespread of COVID-19 cases can be decreased.
