Khoon Hooi
A name that doesn’t need an introduction, how Khoon Hooi expanded his influence to the international level is quite a story to tell. It began as just a holiday trip to Paris. At the same time, it has given him the opportunity to showcase his designs to some of the big names in the creative industry there. Well, I guess his hard work paid off as he was the only Malaysian designer that was chose by an agent to be represented in the United States during the Singapore Fashion Week. Amazing, right?
His collection is so luxurious and edgy. Trust me, you will love every bit of it! You may have seen some of his pieces being worn by Hollywood celebrities like Katy Perry and Karen Pittman on red carpets before. It only makes sense that Khoon Hooi has gained quite a number of recognitions such as the Malaysia International Fashion Awards (MIFA)––Logwin Industrial Excellence Awards in 2011.
