The thought of not meeting the guests’ expectations terrifies me. When we first took charge of this place and compared it to now, there is no comparison; it has been completely overhauled. I remember when I first got here, thinking how much potential this resort had and wishing that under management it would become known not just locally, but internationally as well.
Others had their doubts about whether or not I’d be able to handle managing while also getting stuck in to practical tasks such as cleaning toilets, drains, grocery shopping and baking – but this is what being an entrepreneur looks like in practice.
