We made our way to Rembau, an hour and a half drive away from Selangor, to be met by the gorgeous Temuan Hills Glamping. It’s a small and tranquil area, perfect as an escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Aside from the glamping tents, they have a nice chalet, a beautiful restaurant with hammocks and ATVs available, as well as activities like archery, congkak and carom. However, remember to keep an eye out for the junction when you’re heading to the glamping sight – we missed it ourselves! While waiting for the owner of Temuan Hills Glamping – Intan, we were offered some drinks to cool off and passed the time playing carom.
Intan is a force to be reckoned with. She took control of her life and career, and single-handedly built the Temuan Hills Glamping Resort from the ground up. Intan had originally founded the business with her husband, but their relationship eventually fizzled out leading her to start fresh. After taking a month-long break to mourn her breakup, she got back in the game with a complete rebranding effort that included designing the landscape and even cooking occasionally in the restaurant- which was constructed by none other than Intan’s own brothers! This multi-talented woman never stops amazing us; we question what this superwoman can’t do! Why did you decide to start Temuan Hills Glamping?
With the idea of glamping coming around during this period, she had a piece of land given by her father and saw it as an opportunity to create a stress-free escape from city life where people can enjoy beautiful green scenery and good food. The hustle and bustle of city life can be overwhelming at times, making it difficult to relax and rejuvenate. However, there is a tranquil escape that offers not only a beautiful green landscape but also delicious cuisine – the perfect way to unwind and forget the worries of everyday life, Intan’s resort – Temuan Hills Glamping.
